Medicare fraud should be reported to this agency as well. Examples of Medicare fraud include: Referral kickbacks for services billed to Medicare, billing for services and//or equipment that was not provided, and inappropriate admissions into Hospice without Medicare-qualifying criteria (a terminal illness with prognosis of 6 months or less to live).
